Eight Jr. Bassmasters Club Champions fished for the 2009 Mississippi State Bass Federation Nation Jr. Bassmasters State Championship. The event was hosted by Mr. Neil Scrimpshire the owner of Adventure Lake.

JWC Divisional Guidelines
1.A completely filled out and signed entry form and waiver for each contestant must be sent in with the rest of the adult team entries.
2.The Boat Captain’s name and contact info must be sent in with the rest of the team entries. There will be two types of boat captains allowed. You must specify which:
•ADULT TEAM ALTERNATE: The alternate is part of the team and must abide by any and all BASS rules. During Official Practice (Monday-Tuesday) the alternate may be on the tournament waters. During the adult competition (Wednesday-Thursday) the alternate may be on the tournament waters as long as one or both of the Junior Bassmasters are present. During practice they may fish and share information and take part in team meetings. During the Junior Bassmaster competition (Friday) they may not fish, share information or run the Trolling Motor.
•DESIGNATED BOAT CAPTAIN: The designated boat captain is NOT part of the team. They may only be on tournament waters when one or both of the Junior Bassmasters are present. By rule, they may not share any information with anyone on the team including the Junior Bassmasters. During the Junior Bassmaster Official Practice (Monday-Thursday) and Competition (Friday) they may only be on tournament waters when one or both of the Junior Bassmasters are present, and they may not fish, share information or run the Trolling Motor.
3.During Official Practice (Monday-Tuesday) Junior Bassmasters may fish with anyone on the team.
4.During the Adult Competition (Wednesday-Thursday) Junior Bassmasters may only fish with the Adult Team Alternate or the Designated Boat Captain.
5.Junior Bassmasters must check in during the weigh in at the BASS stage on Thursday.
6.Junior Bassmasters and their Boat Captain must attend a mandatory briefing and boat draw immediately following the conclusion of the weigh in at the BASS Stage on Thursday.
